Defining the word “cheap” is easier than defining “healthy”. What’s healthy for one person might be unhealthy for another. An easy example of this might be a baked potato. This can be a healthy food, but it could be unhealthy for someone with kidney disease because of the high amount of potassium in potatoes. Also, for someone with diabetes, a baked potato needs to be carefully included in a balanced meal to make sure that the person doesn’t get too much carbohydrate.
Since what is healthy for one person might not be healthy for another person, I need to clarify that the healthy recipes on this site are healthy for people who aren’t affected by a nutrition related medical condition. Basically, the healthy recipes and healthy food suggestion you may find on this site are for a typical healthy adult unless noted otherwise.
